As one of seven deaneries established within the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington, the Brandywine Hundred Deanery consistes of six parishes located within the historic boundaries of the Brandywine and Christiana Hundreds of Delaware.

The Dean of the Brandywine Hundred Deanery, Vy. Rev. Michael J. Carrier, KHS, V.F., is appointed by the Bishop and serves as the current pastor of Church of the Holy Child on Naamans Rd in North Wilmington.  He shares the Bishop’s task of planning, coordinating, and implementing the work of the church within the Deanery.
