Don was born and raised in Belleville, NJ. He attended Belleville public grade school, St. Benedict’s Prep, Fordham University and New York University from which he received a doctorate in chemistry. He and his wife, Jacqueline, have a blended family of 5 children and 13 grandchildren. Don is retired from the DuPont Company where he had a 37-year career during which he served in many capacities including research chemist, customer technical service consultant, and technical, business and marketing management.
Don is a founding member of Church of the Holy Child and its choir. He has served in many roles: parish counsel, trustee, liturgy committee chairman and team leader of our Synod listening sessions. Currently Don is a cantor, and member of the choir, Lazarus committee, and is an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.
He is honored that Fr. Carrier asked him to be our representative on the Brandywine Hundred Deanery Leadership Team and is looking forward to continuing to work with the team tasked with implementing the pastoral goal to “Educate the faithful of our parishes in their faith, so that they may become evangelizers to those who are missing from our parishes and the unchurched in our communities.”
