My name is Rita McDowell.  My husband, along with our 4 children have been active members of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and School for the last 25 years.  I am currently working as the Pastoral Associate at Immaculate Heart of Mary.  

Over the years, I have worked as a Youth Minister, Parish Social Concerns Coordinator in other parishes.  I work at Immaculata University as a Medical Ethics and Theology Professor as well.  
Service on the Deanery Leadership Team is yet another way that I feel I can faithfully represent and serve the members of IHM and work to strengthen the connections between parishes in our Deanery.  I see this as a role where I can contribute to the strength of our Catholic community and to grow through  evangelization as a team throughout the deanery.
